About the project

Go2Recycling aims reducing of the municipal waste and relating pollution in the BSB through establishing sustainable CB partnership for exchange of expertise and implementation of joint pilot actions for litter reduction and decreasing the landfill waste.

Go2Recycling proposes a new approach for the urban waste management by establishing mechanisms for navigating the waste to the collecting centers and stimulating development of separation, reduction and recycling behaviors by the citizens.

Go2Recycling is a cooperation between 5 institutions and organizations from 4 countries, thatcombine their sources with aim to tackle one of the most important global environmental issue: pollution, including plastic pollution, rising dramatically as a result of the insufficient training, knowledge and habits, lack of planning and infrastructure for effective waste management /WM/ and the most important lack of responsible behaviour and environmental consciousness in the community.

The project will have strong effect on the general public, due to its aim to increase the public awareness and local people’s behaviours in separating their garbage and collecting and delivering to the specially developed centers or to the relevant waste container.
